Karl A. Lozanne Reid, MD, is an Afro descendant, son of two appreciated Limon natives living in New York, Lloyd Lozanne y Nelva Reid.

In June of 2009, he completed the neurosurgery residency program at the University of Pittsburgh . Thanks to his responsibility, dedication and high grades along his career, he has received many valuable opportunities, such as taking a position with Columbia Neurosurgical Associates in West Columbia, South Carolina.

Karl and his parents keep permanent contact and they hope to come back and serve in their native country, Costa Rica.
