I live in Austria where it’s difficult to find good
information on the
Afro Limon culture. Limón Roots is the first magazine I know
that writes about numerous different aspects of people of
African heritage, and I think that the articles are very
interesting. I’m writing my thesis
on “the people of African heritage living in Limón”, and I
would like to thank all at Limón Roots, especially Ramiro
Crawford, for the help.

Today I unexpectedly received a copy of Limon Roots magazine.
I honestly did not know of its existence. I find the
magazine very professional and long overdue in the province
to promote among other things, culture, history, and tourism.
I am a musician in the national music band in Limon, and
working as such for years, I see many people that for lack
of information are surprised to learn that there is a music
band that works for the good of the community. I would like
your help in expanding the mission, vision and objectives of
all the national bands in our country. Limón National Band
is honored to serve the people of Limon.
